*Typical work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Remote office environment independent from the rest of the team. Significant regional travel by driving is required.

*CW will work from a home office but with the expectation field work the majority of each week.

Description:

  • Supports commercial efficiency programs by performing outreach and education activities with trade allies and customers and others as well as preparing monthly reports and other internal and external correspondence.
  • Responsible for selling company products and services through trade allies/customers/channels in assigned territory.
  • Assists in meeting/event planning and organization for program events.
  • May be responsible for location, food, transportation, and presentation arrangements.
  • Distribute program materials and provide participating trade allies and customers with appropriate training on energy efficiency programs.
  • Convey new and upcoming developments in the program to trade allies and customers.
  • Gather valuable feedback to help track and measure the program’s success in transforming the marketplace.
  • Interface with the public and resolve trade ally and customer issues, complaints and questions about the program.
  • Performs related work as required.

Education/Certification/ Knowledge:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years (5 years preferred) experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or electric technologies concepts, preference given to candidates with commercial lighting and or HVAC/chiller experience.
  • Requires 1 year of experience in managing task completion, and/or project tasks.
  • Training and/or presentation experience is preferred.
  • Experience involving customer service, interacting professionally with clients in person, by email and by phone.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be willing to make customer/ contractor visits and calls.
  • Basic skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong presentation skills including ability to present to small and large groups, lower level management and executives.
  • Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
  • Clean driving record and comfortable with a high amount of driving.
  • Knowledge of commercial buildings and energy efficiency measures.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be self-directed.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and matrix-managed teams.
  • Superior communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Aptitude for process improvement and finding efficiencies.
  • Ability to interact with multiple software systems during a single transaction.
  • Flexible and a team player.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, professional environment with constant change.
  • Computer work is required.
  • Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs occasionally and may be required.

REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of a building to another at a customer site.
  • Ability to sit and use a computer for an extended period of time.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
